Humanity

Today is World Humanitarian Day.

There's a lot of injustice, poverty, corruption, unrest, war etc in the world. A lot of heroes have lost their lives fighting one good cause or the other. So many people have and are still devoting their lives for the world to be a better place to live in.


The world needs more peace. The world needs more kindness. As youths, we can take steps to make the world a better place. It starts with us as individuals. Show love to everyone around you. Be kind to people, especially those in need. We should always display kindness in action and in words. (Ephesians 4:32)

We can also prayerfully stand in gap for our community, country and the world at large. We should intercede for the parts of the world where there's unrest, for children and everyone who are suffering or have been affected by war, terrorism and all. Let's pray that God should intervene in such situations and that He should help us and use us(His children, His representatives) to make …

Hello friends! Hope we are doing good.
I have something interesting to share with us. I met a teenager in June. She is 16 years old, very hardworking, sings beautifully, and wants to be a lawyer. She lives on the street before mine. Whenever I saw her then, we talked a lot. I could tell that behind her laughter and all, there was something sad. I questioned her and she opened up to me and told me what she was going through. She was in SSS1 preparing for exams. Her dad is late and she doesn't live with her mum because of financial challenges. The person she lived with was maltreating her. She doesn't eat and doesn't wear good clothes. Everytime i wanted to visit her, she refused for fear of what her guardian would say. One day i insisted and gave her a surprise visit and truly, those people are hostile.
To cut the long story short, i offered to feed her twice a day and give her some money whenever I had. I gave her some clothes, bags, foot wears and a small phone so she c…
